Three months after the arraival of the merchant’s from Basra, ‘Ha’drwat Khadizatul Kubra ‘Alaihas Salaam sent proposal of marriage to Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam through her uncle Amar Ibne Asad. But Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam quietly refused the proposal due to his natural coyness.
One night ‘Ha’drwat Kubra ‘Alaihas Salaam had a dream that, a sun had fallen into her house as a piece of glaring light. The light enlightened the whole Makkah Shareef. She went to the dream explainers. They said, she would get married with a radiant person.
After having this dream, s again sent the marriage proposal to Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam. In this proposal she mentioned, “I would like to have this marital relation for you are my relative by lineage. The status of your family, personal trustworthiness, cordiality, modesty and truthfulness trigger a great honor towards you.”
On the wedding day, Abu Talib along with his own brother ‘Ha’drwat Hamza ‘Alaihis Salaam and the leaders of tribe of Hashim. The worldly age of Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam was 25 years old at that time. The wedding took place 15 years before the official revealation of Nabuwwat.
The gurdian of ‘Ha’drwat Kubra ‘Alaihas Salaam was her uncle Amar Ibne Asad. 500 Dirham was decided as the Mohrana. Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam sold 20 of his camels to pay the Mohrana.
After the marriage, ‘Ha’drwat Kubra ‘Alaihas Salaam gifted all her wealth to Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam willingly. The first day when she met Hujur Pak Swallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, she greeted him by laying off golden plates under each of his each steps down to her home. SubhanAllah!
