It is mentioned in the sacred Qur’aan Shareef, “Do recall the special days of Allah Pak Rwabbul ‘Alameen! Obviously there are signs for the patient and grateful slaves of Almighty Allah Pak Rwabbul ‘Alameen. (Sacred Surah Ibrwaheem Shareef, sacred Ayat Shareef no. 5)
Here, Almighty Allah Pak Rwabbul ‘Alameen dictates us to remember the special days declared in sacred Deen Islam. What are the special days for Muslims? The days which are related to sacred Deen Islam, Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam, ‘Ha’drwat Ahle Bait Shareef ‘Alaihimus Salaam etc. are the special days to Muslims. This is very sad but true that today Muslims are far from observing these days.
Muslims rather celebrate Baishakhi Puja, Valentine’s day, 31st night, May day, April Fool, Rabindra Joyonti etc. Na’oojubillah!
Muslims today remember the date of the valentine’s day, Baishakhi Puja; media is there to remind them of it. How many Muslims do recall the day of 22nd Jumadal Ulaa Shareef, the glorified marriage ceremony of the Mother of whole Ummah- Ummul Mu’mineen ‘Had’rwat Kubra ‘Alaihas Salaam with Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam? How many of them do remember the event ? How many of them will observe the day?
Almighty Allah Pak Rwabbul ‘Alameen says regarding the Fa’dweelat (significance) of ‘Ha’drwat Ummahatul Mu’mineen ‘Alaihinnas Salaam, “Noor-e-Mujassam ‘Habeebullah ‘Hu’dur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam is dearer to believers than their own lives and his most honorable wives are their mother. (Sacred Surah Ahzab Shareef: sacred Ayat Shareef no. 6)
She is the mother of everyone. What are we doing as her descendants? What do we do for our mother? When our own mother came to our father’s house, we feel joy celebrating that day. We do everything possible for our mother. Then, what should we do for the most dignified mother of our mothers, Ummul Mu’mineen Al Ulaa ‘Ha’drwat Khadizatul Kubra ‘Alaihas Salaam?
If we claim ourselves to be among the Ummah, then we should express joy and happiness on this day, recite sacred Qur’aan Shareef, perform prayer, donate money, feed the poor and whatever noble deed is possible for us.
Claiming ourselves as Ummah and her childern, can’t we pay this much honor?
