- There are many sacred Hadith Shareef pertaining to the rewards for the sacred sacrifice. For example, it is stated in the sacred Hadith Shareef-
Meaning: “Hadrat Zaid Ibn Arkam Radiallahu Ta’ala Anhu narrated, Hadrat Sahaba-E-Kiram Radiallahu Ta’ala Anhum once asked, Ya Rwasulullah Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam! What is this sacred “Sacrifice”? Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam replied, it is the sacred Sunnah of your ancestor Hadrat Ibrahim Alaihis Salam. They again asked, Ya Rwasulullah Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam! How much reward is given for this for us? Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam replied, there is a reward for each wool of the sacrificial animal. Then they again asked, Ya Rwasulullah Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam! What is the decree in case of animals with thick fur? Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam replied, the decree is the same even for animals with a thick fur. SubhaanAllah!
- Musnad-E-Ahmad Shareef
- Ibn Majah Shareef
- Mishkat Shareef
- It is said, Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said, “Hadrat Da’wood Alaihis Salam prayed to Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala, Ya Baar-E-Elahi! How much reward will be given to the Ummah of the last Rwasool Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam for the sacred “Sacrifice”? Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala replied, “there will be ten rewards, ten pardons and ten honors for each wool of the sacrificed animal”. SubhaanAllah! Hadrat Da’wood Alaihis Salam again asked, how much reward will be given if one cleave the stomach of the sacrificed animal? Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala replied, “The one, who performs the sacred “Sacrifice”, will neither be hungry nor thirsty after the resurrection and he will be stress-free on the great day of resurrection.” SubhaanAllah! Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala said, “For every piece of the meat of the sacrificed animal, the one, who performs the sacred “Sacrifice”, will receive a palace in the heaven.” SubhaanAllah! Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala added, “Ya Hadrat Da’wood Alaihis Salam! Know that the sacrificed animal will be the vehicle to cross the bridge to the heaven for the one who performs the sacred sacrifice.”
- It is said, Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was in the sacred Madina Shareef for ten years. He performed the sacred sacrifice every year, he never missed it and Hadrat Sahaba_E-Kiram Radiallahu Ta’ala Anhum emphasized on the sacred “Sacrifice”as well.
The decree of donating the money instead of performing the sacred “Sacrifice” is not in the Shariah. Neither Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam nor Hadrat Sahaba_E-Kiram Radiallahu Ta’ala Anhum did so though it was more needed that time than now. Rather they performed the sacred “sacrifice” and instructed us to donate the skin and meat of the sacrificed animal among the poor.
Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said in the sacred Hadith Shareef-
Meaning: “Ummul Mu’mineen Hadrat Siddika Alaihas Salam narrates, Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said, performing the sacred “Sacrifice” is the most preferred deed to Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala among all the deeds that the Ummah performs on the sacred day of the sacred “Sacrifice”. The sacrificed animal will appear on the great day of resurrection with its horns, fur and hooves and the blood of the sacrificial animal reaches to Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala before it falls on the ground.(SubhaanAllah) So, you perform the sacred “Sacrifice” with cheerful mind.”
- Tirmizi Shareef
- Ibn Majah Shareef
- According to another narration, the sacrificed animal will testify in favor of the ones who perform the sacred “Sacrifice”. Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala gives countless rewards for each wool of the sacrificed animal to the one who performs the sacred “Sacrifice”. SubhaanAllah!
- It is said in the sacred Hadith Shareef, the Habeeb of Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala, Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam said, “Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala forgives all the sins of the one, who performs the sacred “Sacrifice”, before the blood falls on the ground. SubhaanAllah!
- It is also said in the sacred Hadith Shareef, “the sacrificed animal will carry the one, who performs the sacred “Sacrifice” on its back to heaven crossing the bridge to heaven at lightning speed.” SubhaanAllah!
- It is also said in the sacred Hadith Shareef, “the sacrificed animal will be counted as vehicle on the great day of resurrection.” SubhaanAllah!
So one should reject the animals with flaws like blind, lame, toothless, feeble animals and perform the sacred “Sacrifice” with flawless animals.
It is worthy to mention that those, who are eligible to perform the sacred “Sacrifice”, will earn myriads of rewards through performing the sacred “Sacrifice”. However, those, who are not eligible to perform the sacred “Sacrifice”, can also earn the reward of the sacred “sacrifice” by collectively perform the sacred “Sacrifice” in the name of the Habeeb of Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala, Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hudurpak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam with lamb, sheep, goat, buffalo or cow.
