Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Hudur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam Declares, “There are five especial nights that the supplications are sure to be granted. Those are 1. The first night of the sacred month of Rajabul Haram. 2. The sacred night of Lailatul Baraat. 3. The sacred night of Lailatul Qadr. 4 & 5. Two sacred nights of two Eid. The day-passed evening today is the time for sighting the up-coming crescent of the sacred month of Shahrullahil Haraam, Rajabul Asammah. If the crescent could be sighted this evening, then tonight is going to be the first night of the sacred month of Rajabul Haraam, a night which is sure to have the supplications granted. SubhanAllah! Therefore, it would be the sacred duty and responsibility of all the Muslims to perform the sacred Milaad Shareef and Qiyam Shareef very dedicatedly and offer special supplications this night and go for fasting the following day. And in this regard, it would be appropriate for all the governments (of the world) including that of Bangladesh to declare a government holiday on this day, the revered day of the first of Rajabul Haraam so that Muslims can devote for prayers for the night and fast during the day. While at the same time, it would also be appropriate to include discussions about those special days and nights of Islam in the syllabi of all educational institutes.
The focal WaliAllah of the age, The Imaam and Mujtaheed, The Mujaddid of this century, Mujaddide Azam, Ghausul Azam Hadrat Imaamul Umam ‘Alaihis Salaam says, “It is needless to go for narrating the vast and endless dignity and honour of the sacred month of Rajabul Haraam. Supplications (of the Muslims) are sure to be accepted and granted on the very first night of this sacred month of Shahrullahil Haram, Rajabul Asammah. Therefore, it would be the sacred duty and responsibility of all the Muslims to perform the sacred Milaad Shareef and Qiyam Shareef very dedicatedly and offer special supplications this night and go for fasting the following day. In course of narrating the special blessings and honour of the first night of the month of Rajabul Haraam, He delivered the above Nasihah (advice).
Mujaddide Azam, Saiyiduna, Hadrat Imaamul Umam ‘Alaihis Salaam says, “When it used to be the month of Rajabul Haraam, Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Hudur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam used to increase the frequency of His offerings and did fasting more in numbers while He encouraged his followers to pray more during the nights and go fasting during daytime. It has come in the sacred Hadis Shareef that, “Those Muslim males and females, for the sake of gaining the contentment of Allah Subhanahu Ta’ala, passing one night through ibadah (offering prayers) and a day through fasting during the month of Rajabul Haraam, Allah Pak shall record the thawab (virtue) of one full year of prayers during nighttime and one full year of fasting during daytime, in their ‘amalnama (dossiers).” SubhanAllah!
Mujaddide Azam, Saiyiduna, Hadrat Imaamul Umam ‘Alaihis Salaam says, “Today, in the evening, we shall have to look for the moon of the sacred month of Rajabul Haraam. If the crescent could be sighted this evening, then tonight is going to be the first night of the sacred month of Rajabul Haraam. And if, for any reason, the moon is not sighted, then tomorrow night is going to be the first night of the sacred month of Rajabul Haraam. At the same time, it is going to be the first Jum’a night of the month of Rajabul Haraam, which is the ‘Night of the Raghaeeb’, an enormously blessed night. Regarding this great night, it has come in the Hadis Shareef that, “There are five especial nights that the supplications are sure to be granted. Those are 1. The first night of the sacred month of Rajabul Haram. 2. The sacred night of Lailatul Baraat. 3. The sacred night of Lailatul Qadr. 4 & 5. Two sacred nights of two Eid”. SubhanAllah! That means the supplications are sure to be granted on the very first night of the sacred month of Rajabul Haraam. Therefore, all Muslims, males and females should remain awake in this blessed night and keep submitting their virtuous supplications and virtuous desires to Allah Pak. But those have to be asked exclusively with determination; no doubts should be there. There must be absolute trust that all my supplications and all my virtuous desires are sure to be accepted and fulfilled by Allah Pak. By reciting the sacred Milaad Shareef and Qiyam Shareef and through prayers and supplications and Tawbah-Istighfaar (acts of repentance), Muslims can easily get rid of all their domestic, social and international troubles in this endlessly blessed night. But Muslims are so indifferent about the enormous virtues and dignity of this grand night. Like every year in the Sunnati Jam-e-Masjid, on the first night of Rajabul Haraam Shareef, the very night for the prayers to be granted, we shall, InshaAllah, carry on with Waz Shareef (Religious speeches) after the Maghrib prayers and Milaad Shareef after the Isha prayers followed by especial Dua – Munajat (supplications and submissions).”
Mujaddide Azam, Saiyiduna, Hadrat Imaamul Umam ‘Alaihis Salaam says, “The gist is – Today, in the evening, we shall have to look for the moon of the sacred month of Rajabul Haraam. If the crescent could be sighted this evening, then tonight is going to be the first night of the sacred month of Shahrullahil Haram, Rajabul Asammah, a night which is sure to have the supplications granted.
