Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Dictates, “You look for Lailatul Qadr in the odd nights of the last 10 days of the Rwamadwan Shareef.” Therefore, it is the responsibility of everyone to look for the night of Shab-e-Qadr, in the last ten days on odd nights of Rwamadwan Shareef. Besides, in every Jam-e-Masjid, at least one person must perform Itikaf in the last 10 days. Itikaf during the last ten days of Rwamadwan Shareef is Sunnat-e-Muakkadah-e-Kifaya.

Prime Point of Allah’s attention, Imam and Mujtahid of the age, Imaamul Aimmah, Qutwubul A’alam, Awladur Rwasool, Habeebullah, Mamduh, Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee of Rajarbagh Dorbar Shareef, Dhaka said, ‘Allah Ta’ala says, “Certainly, We have sent it (this Qur’an Shareef) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree). And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months. Therein, descend Hajrat Jibreel ‘Alaihis Salaam by Allah Pak’s Permission with all Decrees and Peace along with a troupe of Firishta (Malaaika); all that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah Pak for the believers until the appearance of dawn.
And it is mentioned in Hadis Shareef, “In the night of Qadr, Hajrat Jibreel ‘Alaihis Salaam descends on the land along with a troupe of Firishta (Malaaika). Then showers blessings to all those in prayers, standing or sitting.
It is also mentioned in Hadis Shareef, “Surely, there are 5 special nights that supplications are sure to be granted. 1. The first night of the month of Rajab 2. The night of (Shab e) Baraat. 3. The night of Qadr and 5. The two (previous) nights of two Eid”.
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee says, “Shab-e-Qadr is not as distinguished as Shab-e-Barat or other (Sacred) nights. Shab-e-Qadr could be on any of the odd nights of the last 10 nights of Rwamadwan Shareef. So it has been instructed to look for Shab-e-Qadr on every odd night of the last 10 days.”
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee says, “Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam HIMSELF, performing Itikaf at the last 10 days of Rwamadwan, Dictated to look for Shab-e-Qadr in odd nights. For example, it is mentioned in Hadis Shareef, Hajrat Abu Saiyid Khudrwee RwadiAllahu Anhu described, “Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu performed Itikaf at the first 10 days of Rwamadwan Shareef. Then performed Itikaf in the second 10 days under a Turkish Tent, after that glanced out from Tent and Said, “I performed Itikaf at the first 10 days, then performed at the second 10 days,” After that Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Says, “Oh Sahaba-e-kiram RwadiAllahu Anhum! Those who are performing Itikaf with me, do it for the last 10 days as well and look for Lailatul Qadr at the odd nights of last 10 days.”
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee, quoting from Bukhari Shareef, Muslim Shareef, says, ‘Ummul Mu’minin Hajrat Siddiqa ‘Alaihas Salaam, says, “Certainly, Habeebullah Huzur Pak Swallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam performed Itikaf every year at last ten days of Rwamadwan Shareef until His Bisal Shareef (expiry). Hajrat Ummul Mu’minin ‘Alaihinnas Salaam performed Itikaf after His Bisal Shareef.
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee says, “Every Masjid must be kept cleaned for Itikaf and Swalat. The Mu’takif must enter into the Masjid before the sunset.”
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee, in explaining the benefits of (performing) ‘Itikaf’ says, ‘Hadis Shareef has the reference that, “If someone does only a single day Itikaf for the satisfaction and countenance of Allah Pak, Then Allah Pak makes a difference of three ditches between him and the jahannam! (One ditch is equal to a distance from the east of the earth till the west). This means he becomes a jannati (heaven-dweller). SubhanAllah!”
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee says, ‘It is mentioned in the Hadis Shareef that, “Without Roza (fasting), Itikaf will not be acceptable and without Masjid, Itikaf will not be considered performed.”
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee says, “Itikaf is Sunnat-e-Muakkadah-e-Kifaya. i.e., at least one person must perform Itikaf per Masjid, other wise everybody shall become sinners for abandoning Wajib. Some people say, 5 to 7 days of Itikaf shall do. But no! One has to enter Masjid before the sunset of 20th Rwamadwan Shareef and remain on Itikaf until the moon for the Eid appears. Even a second less shall not be accepted. It is Sunnat-e-Muakkadah-e-Kifaya. And Wajib Itikaf is the Itikaf of Mannat (desires). The Nafl Itikaf is to remain in the Masjid with the intention of Itikaf in mind after entering the Masjid. That will fetch the Sawab of Itikaf.”
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee says, “It is mentioned in Hadis Shareef, that, “Mu’takif will remain free from sins and shall always remain dissolved in Zikr-Azkar, Tawba-Istigfar, Ibadat-Bandegi, ie. shall remain engaged in good jobs. Allah Pak will write down Neki (rewards for good job) at the Amalnama of a Mu’takif equivalent to the good jobs done by an outsider. SubhanAllah!”
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee says, “Mu’takif shall not visit an ill man, will not attend any Janaza and shall not approach towards spouse. Because Allah Pak Dictates, ‘It is prohibited for a Mu’takif to approach towards Ahlia; this is the limit.’ Mu’takif should not be out of the Masjid except extreme necessity (responding to calls of nature). Itikaf will be void if Mu’takif goes out even for a second except the necessity of Oju-Istinja (ablution and toilets). Mu’takif should not have a shower. But well, in extreme uneasy feelings, may do so as Majur (compelled) within the time that one can finish his Oju-Istinjah. For a Mu’takif, looking here and there, making unnecessary gossips with people is completely forbidden. If the situation is such that there is no food bearer, he can bring his own food.”
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee says, “Itikaf is Sunnat-e-Muakkadah-e-Kifaya in the view of Shariah, i.e., at least one male must do Itikaf per Masjid. If nobody does so, everybody shall be sinner for abandoning Wajib. So everybody should perform Itikaf at the last 10 days of Rwamadwan Shareef and look for Shab-e-Qadr in the odd nights.
Mujaddide A’azwam Hajrat Murshid Qibla Mudda Zilluhul A’alee invited everybody to achieve Satisfaction of Allah Pak and Saiyidul Mursaalin, Imaamul Mursaalin, Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam through performing and accomplishing Sunnati Itikaf and looking for Shab-e-Qadr according to the Shariah dictated process”.
