- Zakat is one of the five pillars of Deen (religion) Islam.
- Zakat is directly related to Eemaan (belief):
“Certainly those who have conceived Emaan, performed ‘Amilus Swalehaat (good/ righteous deeds), performed Swalaat and have paid zakat, they will have rewards from their Rob Allah Subh’anu Wa ta’alaa. “(The sacred Baqara Shareef: The sacred Ayat Shareef no: 277)”
- To pay zakat is Far’d (mandatory):
“You do perform Swalaat, pay zakat. And whatever you send beforehand for yourself from the good works. Certainly, the rewards of that are kept with Allah Pak. Surely, Allah Pak watches over whatever you do.”(The sacred Baqara Shareef: 110)
