The almighty, the creator, the master Allah Subhanu Wa Ta’ala declares, ‘Do not assist each other in sinful deeds and disobedience.’
In India, there is no public holiday for the greatest Eid of Muslims, Saiyyidul Aiyaad Shareef, despite Muslim and hindu population being same in size.
Then how could there be public holidays for janmastami and durga puja in Bangladesh where hindus constitute only 1.5 percent of the whole?
We must remember that ‘the ruling Government is committed not to impose any laws which is contradictory to the sacred Quran Shareef and Hadith Shareef’ and 98% of the population is Muslim and the state religion is the most honored Islam.
So, if there is no way out but to grant a holiday for puja, it must be optional. There is no way it can be public.

It means despite the Muslim and the Hindu population being same in size, there is no public holiday on the auspicious Saiyyide ‘Eeed-E-‘Aazwam, Saiyyide ‘Eeed-E-Akbar, ‘Eeed-E-MiladunNabi’ Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam. Nonetheless, nothing would have been created if he were not created, he is the Nabi’ of all Nabi’ ‘Alaihimus Salam, he is the Rwasool of all Rwasool ‘Alaihimus Salam, Noor-E-Mujassam, Habeebullah, HujurpakSwallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam, he expressed his auspicious arrival on this day; but there is no public holiday for such an occasion. Na’oozubillah !! Then how in Bangladesh could there be a public holiday on the controversialjanmastami and durga puja of hindus where they comprise only 1.5% of the population?
Mujaddide ‘Aazwam, Saiyyiduna Ha’drat Imamul Umam ‘Alaihis Salam says, the celebration of ‘Eeed with great majesty and grandeur by the whole creation at the time of the auspicious arrival of Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hujurpak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam is universally accredited. So the celebration of the auspicious day of arrival of Noor-E-Mujassam Habeebullah Hujurpak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam as Saiyeede ‘Eeed-E-‘Aazwam, Saiyyide ‘Eeed-E-Akbar, the greatest ‘Eeed of all is deeply a rooted to the sacred religious faith of the Muslim. In spite of this, there is no public holiday for the Muslims of India. On the other hand, there are only four public holidays allotted for the Muslim; two on two ‘Eeeds, one on ‘Aashura and one on Lailatul Barat. Na’oozubillah!Mujaddide ‘Aazwam, Saiyyiduna Ha’drat Imamul Umam ‘Alaihis Salam says, hindu organizatios have been appealing to celebrate janmastami and demanding more than one public holiday. However, no question should arise regarding granting public holiday and national celebration on janmastami in such a country where the sacred Deen Islam is declared the State Religion. Even it is not just to declare public holiday on this day. But if there is no way out but to grant a public holiday, it can be at most an optional holiday for hindus. Because for only 1.5% hindus, it is not at all justified to disable the 98% public force and hamper the national economy.
Mujaddide ‘Aazwam, Saiyyiduna Ha’drat Imamul Umam ‘Alaihis Salam summarizes, there can be no public holiday for the 1.5% hindu population on janmastami and durga puja. If there is no way out but to grant holiday, then there can be an optional holiday. There is no way to grant a public holiday. In our country where the state religion is the sacred Islam, there can be no public holiday on such occasions. Rather, the Govt. should grant optional holidays on such occasions and prolong the public holidays on the Islamic occasions, therefore, expressing honor to the State Religion Islam and prioritizing the State Religion, the sacred Islam, in every way.
