Swadakatul Fi’tr: Measuring scheme

Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Declares, “Sadkatul Fi’tr-1 Saa’ must be donated on behalf of 2 persons. That means one person has to donate half Saa’. And Half Saa’ is 1 “Sher” 12.5 “Chotak” or 1657 grams. This year Sadaqatul Fitr is 66 taka 50 paisa in the Dhaka city as the price of flour is 40 taka per kg. It is, in fact, the Fatwa of La Mazhabis’, to ascertain Swadaqatul Fi’tr by the price of main country food. So, fixing Swadaqatul Fi’tr according to the price of rice is completely self made and wrong. Therefore, it is Far’d-wajib for all to refrain themselves from giving and publicizing wrong Fatwa on any topic.

Focal WaliAllah of this age, Imam and Mujtahid of the age, Imaamul Aimmah, Qutubul A’alam, Awladur Rwasool, Habeebullah, Mamduh, Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam of Rajarbagh Dorbar Shareef, Dhaka Says,” Narrated in the “Abu Daa’wood Shareef, Mishkat Shareef,” Kitab, Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Declares regarding the amount of Swadaqatul Fitr, “Narrated by Ha’drwat Abdullah Ibne Sa’laba or Sa’laba Ibne ‘Abdullah Ibne Abu Su’air   from His father that, one Saa’ wheat or flour must be donated on behalf of two persons, either he is mature or immature, either he is free or slave and either he is male or female.

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “According to Hanafi Mazhab Half Saa’ is meant as one Sher 12.5 Chotak, which is approximately 1657 gram.

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “Those upon whom the Swadaqtul Fitr is Wajib thant means, who would have Nisab wealth or wealth worth of 7.5 Tolas gold or 52.5 Tolas silver (which is in amount of 76,554 taka as  1399.68 taka per Tola) they all must donate 1 sher 12.5 Chotak or 1657 gram flour  or price.”

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “The price of flour is different in various area. So, those upon whom the Swadaqatul Fitr is Wajib, they have to pay.

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam, quoting from the famous and reliable Fiq’h and Fatwa Kitab such as Fatwa-e-‘Alamgiri, Qwadikhan, Bahrur Rayek, Hidaya, ‘Ainul Hidaya, Says,”According to the Hanafi Mazhab, Swadaqatul Fi’tr has to be donated only by the price of wheat and flour, not by anything else.

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “Giving Swadaqatul Fi’tr according the price of main country food is the Fatwa of the Batwil Firqa(void sects) La Mazhabi. Therefore, it is not permissible for any Mazhabi  to follow or perform this Fatwa for any Mazhabi. Moreover, it is not permissible for one Mazhab-follower to perform on the Mas’Ala or Fatwa of other Mazhab.

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam, outing reference from Abu Da’wood Shareef and Mishqat Shareef, Says,” Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Declares, “Those who is given Fatwa without ‘Ilm that means wrong Fatwa, his entire sins (created by following that wrong Fatwa) are to be borne by the wrong Fatwa giver.

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “It is very normal to commit error in giving Fatwa for those mufti, maolana who are not aware of Mazhab, have flaw in their activities and concept, and have lust for Dunia (worldly things), have no Taqwa ie. Allah-fearingness, above all they do not have ‘Ilme Ladunni which is condition for giving Fatwa.

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, ?“Allah Pak Declares for those who do not have the knowledge of Dween or Shareeat and Roo’haniyat (spirituality), “Let you know from Ahle Jikir or Allahwala ie. ‘Aaleeme Haqqaanee-Rwabbaanee by asking Them.” And those who are ‘Aleem  it is their duty to serve Daleel (documents) on behalf of their given Mas’ala and Fatwa. Regarding this, Allah Pak Dictates, “Bring your Burhaan (Daleel), if you are truthful.”

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “There is more helpfulness in giving flour to the poor persons between wheat and flour. Because there is no extra labour, expenditure and deficiency in it. But in the case of wheat there are labour, expenditure and deficiency etc. This is cause of less efficiency in it. Therefore, it is ordered to give Swadaqatul Fi’tr in the price of best-quality flour in Hanafi Mazhab.

Mujaddide A’azam Ha’drwat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says,” The gist is, those who tell that Fitra has to be ascertained according to the price of the prime country food rice, they have to submit Daleel on behalf of this.  Because  it is not permissible for any muslim to follow or to perform any Fatwa without Daleel (documents). And infact they will never be able to submit any reliable documents. Therefore, according to Hanafi Mazhab, the Swadaqatul Fi’tr has to be fixed according to the price of wheat and flour only. Giving Swadaqatul Fi’tr according the price of main country food is the Fatwa of the Batwil Firqa(void sects) La Mazhabi. Therefore, fixing the Swadaqatul Fi’tr according to the price of rice is completely self-made and wrong.
